Friday 16 May 2008 to Sunday 25 May 2008:

Although still very warm and mostly sunny at the start of this forecast period, there will be a risk of showers affecting some parts during Friday and over the weekend, which could be heavy and thundery. The main areas at risk are the more southern parts of England and Wales at first, the risk extending at times to other central and southern areas of Britain early next week. Northern Britain continues mostly fine and sunny. The rest of the following week looks like it will be less settled generally, with some rain or showers spreading to all parts of the United Kingdom. Temperatures are likely to return to nearer normal by this time, although some of the brighter, sunnier locations will still be rather warm.

Brief History About Hereford Weather Station

South Hereford weather center is base in Hereford UK, we are small business that supply local weather reports/data to company's and to you. We have been going for about 3 years now, when we started up in Hereford there was not any proper weather report around locally. Therefore, we decided to setup our own weather station and so fare is going well.

Brief History About Hereford City
Hereford was one of the first towns founded in England after the end of Roman Rule. Early Hereford was a frontier town on the border between kingdoms inhabited by the ancestors of the Welsh and of the English before there were such countries as 'Wales' and 'England'.

The English never totally conquered what is now modern Herefordshire as the many Welsh place-names in the county attest - parts of Herefordshire were never in 'Anglo-Saxon' England. Hereford expanded under the Norman and French kings who ruled England from 1066.
